GDPR
Last updated: 9 June 2026
This notice explains how Strivaro supports the rights of users in the EU and UK under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It complements our Privacy Policy.
Overview
If you are located in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights over your personal data. This notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Controller and processor roles
For data relating to your coach account, Strivaro is the data controller. For client data that coaches add to the platform, the coach is the controller and Strivaro acts as a processor, handling that data on the coach's instructions to provide the service.
Your rights under the GDPR
- Access to the personal data we hold about you, and rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”) where applicable.
- Restriction of, or objection to, certain processing.
- Data portability — receiving your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdrawing consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodging a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.
Lawful bases for processing
We rely on lawful bases including performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the platform, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to ensure it remains protected.
Exercising your rights
To make a request, contact us or email strivaroportal@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the GDPR, normally within one month. Coaches can also action many client requests directly within the app.
